Charity of the year 2023 – Midhurst Palliative Care

We are delighted to announce that our Charity of Year for 2023 is new charity, Midhurst Palliative Care.

Each year our staff nominate local charities to become the charity for the year which we raise funds for. This year Midhurst Palliative Care was the winner. It is close to our staff’s hearts being not only local to our Midhurst office but having provided help and support to family members.

Midhurst Palliative Care is a registered charity funding the independent Midhurst Macmillan Service. They deliver a community-based, consultant-led, specialist palliative care service to people living in parts of Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. Their aim is to provide the best possible level of care to those who have cancer and other life-limiting illnesses and, wherever possible, to treat people in their own home.

Following a change in the Macmillan funding model, they have set up Midhurst Palliative Care ( no 1195572) to sustain and expand this vital local service.
