MacDonald Oates Sponsors Glow Ride in Denmead

We are proud to have sponsored the first ‘Glow Ride’ in Denmead. It was held on Friday 28th December in Denmead to highlight the need for us to be seen on our bikes in the dark and was organised by Terri Bryant of Body Focus.

The ride started at Denmead Junior School as they had kindly allowed us to use their grounds and new running track.

There was a competition for best dressed bike and rider, a raffle….

..and then the riders set off for a parade through the village.

Linda Wilson, Partner and head of Employment, attended and commented “It was great when it went dark and you could see all the lights and the effort the children (and some adults!) had gone to in decorating their bikes. I am so glad we had a good turn out and dry weather – the children loved it! ”
