Career History
James grew up in the Midhurst area and went to school in Midhurst. He attended the University of Durham where he obtained a BSc in Mathematics. He subsequently attended the University of Westminster where he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction.
He trained at MacDonald Oates and was admitted as a solicitor in 1997, becoming a Partner in 2001 and then Consultant in 2022.
James passed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma for England and Wales (Trusts and Estates) with Distinction, and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Personal
In his spare time James enjoys horse riding and good food. He is also company secretary of the community-owned Kirdford Village Stores.
